Peach Cobbler Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh 680 g, or canned 888 g sliced peaches
  • ¼ cup (20 g) rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup (42 g) Heart-Healthy Baking mix
  • ½ cup 100 g sugar
  • ½ cup (115 g) brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup (120 ml) water, or reserved peach juice if using canned peaches

Method

  1. Spray inside of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray
  2. Place peaches in slow cooker
  3. In a bowl, mix together oats, baking mix, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon
  4. When blended, stir in water or juice until well mixed
  5. Spoon batter into cooker and stir into peaches, just until blended
  6. Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours
  7. Yield: 6 servings
  8. Per serving: 167 g water; 245 calories (1% from fat, 4% from protein, 95% from carb)

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
