Old-Fashioned Mincemeat Pie

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 3 cups mincemeat
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped apples
  • 2 pie shells – or pie pastry

Method

  1. In place of the 3 cups of mincemeat you can use 2 cups mincemeat and 1 cup raisins.
  2. Mix mincemeat and apples.
  3. Pour into pie shells.
  4. Cover with a top crust.
  5. Cut slits in top crust.
  6. Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 425 degree oven until crust is browned.
  7. Serve warm.
