Ingredients
- 390 g thinly sliced carrots
- 475 ml water
- 3 tbsps (42 g) unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons (60 ml) orange marmalade
- 2 tbsps (14 g) chopped pecans
Method
- Combine carrots and water in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or until carrots are done
- Drain well and then stir in remaining ingredients
- Cover and cook on high 20 to 30 minutes
- Yield: 5 servings
- Per serving: 168 g water; 141 calories (55% from fat, 3% from protein, 42% from carb)
