Onions Au Gratin Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 4
  • 6 medium onions – sliced
  • salt and pepper – to taste

White Sauce – see recipe

  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • paprika – if desired

Method

  1. Cook onions in boiling salted water until tender.
  2. Drain water off
  3. Make White sauce.
  4. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
  5. Add onions and heat well.
  6. Pour in serving dish and add paprika on top if desired.
