Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 8 ounces (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (6 ounces, or 170 g) no-salt-added tomato paste
- 1 can 680g no-salt-added tomato sauce
Method
- Heat oil in a large skillet and saute mushrooms, onion, and garlic until onions are transparent
- Add to slow cooker
- Add remaining ingredients to cooker
- Mix well
- Cover and cook on low 6 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 136 g water; 92 calories (27% from fat, 18% from protein, 55% from carb)
