Mud Cake Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

Method

1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Spray 13×9 in cake pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside
3. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
5. Stir in vanilla
6. In medium bowl, combine cocoa and flour; fold into batter
7. Spread in pan and bake 25-30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
8. Cool, and frost as desired
