Mexican Picadillo Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 4-6

  • 250 grams of ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup of Olives (green)
  • 1 Chile
  • 4 tablespoons of Beans (refried)
  • 4 Tortillas (toasted)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of Chives
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method

  1. Chop the onion, garlic, chili, olives
  2. Put a frying pan on high heat with a little oil
  3. Saute the meat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Add the onion, garlic, chili, olives and scallions, and salt
  5. Saute another 4 minutes
  6. Add the refried beans, mix well for 2 minutes
  7. Put the heat on low
  8. Add the hot sauce and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently
