Mango Con Chile Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 1 SMOOTHIE

Calories 260 Protein 4 g Carbohydrates 65 g Fat 1 g Fiber 5 g Sugar 47 g Sodium 10 g.:

  • 3/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1/3 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (from about 3 oranges)
  • juice of 2 limes (or less to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • handful of ice cubes (if desired).
  • garnish: chili powder

Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender
  2. Blend until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes
  3. Begin at the lowest speed and gradually increase to the highest
  4. Garnish and serve
  5. Dredge the rim and top of the glass in a mixture of salt and chili powder
