Low Fat Trifle Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Fat-free ricotta cheese
  • 6 ounces Lowfat cottage cheese
  • 5 ounces Low-fat sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Peppermint oil, optional
  • 1/8 ounce Sheet gelatin, softened
  • Method

  • Combine the ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and peppermint oil, if using in the bowl of a food processor.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Warm the mixture in a double boiler or microwave to 100°F (38°C).
  • Stir in the softened gelatin.
  • Use immediately.
  • Yield: 1 lb oz
