Low Fat Thick Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain nonfat yogurt, without gelatin
  • muslin if preferred to strainer

Method

  1. Line 6-inch strainer with basket-style paper coffee filter or double-thickness cheesecloth.
  2. Place strainer over bowl.
  3. Spoon yogurt into strainer.
  4. Cover strainer and bowl and refrigerate at least 12 hours, draining liquid from bowl occasionally.

Makes 2 cups.
