Low Fat Spiced Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 6 medium apples, cored, pared and diced
  • 14 ounces fat-free sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granola
  • Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Spray a 9-inch-square baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Place sliced apples in prepared pan.
  • In small bowl, combine milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
  • Pour evenly over apples.
  • Bake uncovered 20 minutes.
  • Cover with aluminum foil; bake 20 minutes longer.
  • Serve warm, topped with granola.
  • Makes 10 servings.
  • Preparation time: 20 minutes.
  • Baking time: 40 minutes.
