Ingredients
- 1/2 cup stick margarine, 70% vegetable oil spread
- 3 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 cup egg substitute
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate mini-morsels
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Coat 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
- Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients in order listed, stirring well after each addition.
- Spread evenly in baking pan.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until deep golden brown.
- Makes 24 squares.
