Linguine Tuna Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces linguine – broken in half
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 10 ounces green peas – frozen
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 12 1/2 ounces tuna – drained
  • 2 medium firm tomatoes – chopped

Method

  1. Thaw peas before using in this salad.
  2. Cook Linguine according to package directions, drain.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, onions, sugar, Italian Seasoning, and salt, mix well.
  4. Add HOT linguine; toss.
  5. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  6. Cover; chill to blend flavors.
  7. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish as desired.
  8. Refrigerate leftovers.
