Ingredients
- ½ cup (80 g) chopped onion
- ¼ cup (33 g) chopped carrots
- ¼ cup (25 g) chopped celery
- 480 ml diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 ounces, or 225 g) no-salt-added tomato sauce
- ½ cup (96 g) lentils, rinsed and drained
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon basil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Method
- Mix all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 3 to 5 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 112 g water; 57 calories (6% from fat, 19% from protein, 75% from carb)
