- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 pounds asparagus – trimmed and washed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds – toasted
Method
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- TO PREPARE: Blanch asparagus.
- Toast sesame seeds in a small nonstick saucepan over medium heat, shaking the pan until the seeds are golden brown.
- TO COOK: Heat butter in a large skillet.
- Add asparagus; sauti until tender, about 2 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and sesame seeds; season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
- Serve immediately.
