Ingredients
Servings 18
- 3/4 tablespoons Salt
- 1/2 tblsp sugar substitute
- 2 cups Vegetable oil
- 1 whole Garlic Bulb
- 6 pieces Dried Shallot
- 1/4 cup Dried shrimp
- 1/4 cup Dried scallops
- 1/4 cup Dried chili pepper
- 3-4 fresh chili pepper
Method
- Wash and soak dried scallop couple hours until it’s soft
- Wash and soak dried small shrimps for 15-30 minutes
- Drain both and chop fine
- Peel the garlic and shallot and blend a little in a chopper
- Soak dried chili peppers for 10-15 minutes before blending them in a chopper
- Heat up 3- 5 cups of vegetable oil in a pot
- Then, turn the heat to medium-low, add chopped shallots, garlic and dried and fresh chili peppers
- Next, add chopped dried scallops and shrimps
- Keep stirring and simmering for 5 minutes
- Add salt and sugar, mix well and simme for another 15-20 minutes
