Ingredients
Servings 4 Servings
- 500 g Tofu (1 lb)
- 1/3 cup Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Ginger grated
- 1 medium Onion thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Erythritol
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 shallot chopped
- 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds garnish
- 1/2 Medium Cauliflower (riced)
Method
- Slice the cauliflower into small pieces (rice-sized pieces) and place in the steamer basket above water
- Cook for 10-15 mins
- Cut the tofu into large cubes, and pat dry with a paper towel
- Place the coconut oil into a frying pan, and fry the tofu, turning onto each side until crispy
- Remove the tofu from the pan and add the onion and grated ginger
- Cook until transparent
- Then, add the soy sauce, erythritol, sesame seed oil, water and the pre-cooked tofu
- Let it simmer for 5 mins on low
- Serve with cauliflower rice
