Ingredients
- 4 cups (600 g) frozen green beans, unthawed
- 50 g diced onion
- 1/4 cup (30 g) diced celery
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) bacon grease
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) water
Method
- Place the beans in the slow cooker and stir in everything else
- Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 4 hours
Makes 6 servings
- Each with 3 g protein, 7 g carbohydrate, 3 g dietary fiber, 4 g usable carbs
