Keto Southern Beans Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (600 g) frozen green beans, unthawed
  • 50 g diced onion
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) diced celery
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) bacon grease
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) water

Method

  1. Place the beans in the slow cooker and stir in everything else
  2. Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 4 hours

Makes 6 servings

  1. Each with 3 g protein, 7 g carbohydrate, 3 g dietary fiber, 4 g usable carbs
