Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) warm water
- 1/4 cup (25 g) oat bran
- 1/4 cup (25 g) wheat bran
- 1/4 cup (30 g) sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup (32 g) vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 cup (100 g) vital wheat gluten
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) blackstrap molasses
- 2 teaspoons yeast
Method
- Put the ingredients in your bread machine in the order given and run the machine
- When finished, promptly remove the loaf from the machine and bread case to cool
Makes 12 slices
- Each with 6 grams of carbohydrates and 1 grams of fiber, for a total of 4 grams of usable carbs and 18 grams of protein
