Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) butter
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Method
- After pan-broiling a steak, pour off most of the grease
- Melt the butter in the pan and then stir in the mustard, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, stirring it around so you scrape up the nice brown bits from the pan
- Let it bubble a minute, pour it over the hot steak, and serve
Makes about enough for a 1 pound (455-g) steak gram of carbohydrates, no fiber, and no protein
