Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp almond butter
- 1 cup almond flour
- salt
- 4 mushrooms
- 3 tsp olive oil
- ½ cup yellow onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 Italian sausage
- 1 red pepper
- fennel seed
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes
- oregano
- ½ cup marinara sauce
Method
- For this recipe you will need to turn the oven up so it reaches 350 degrees
- While the oven is heating up, you can take out a bowl and mix together the almond flour, almond butter, eggs, and salt
- Before placing this mixture into the baking dish, you can spread out some olive oil onto the bottom
- Place the mixture into your oven and allow it time to bake, around 10 minutes
- During the cooking process, you can take out a skillet and cook together the onions, mushrooms, and sausage and heat it up in order to cook the sausage
- Set this aside and then add the garlic and red pepper to your skillet, making sure to saute the vegetables for around 3 minutes
- When the crust is done, you can add in both the mixtures that you just did into it and sprinkle with the spices
- Place this whole dish in the oven and allow another 20 minutes to cook
- When the pizza is done, you can take it out of the oven and top with your tomatoes before enjoying
