Keto Maple Oat Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces (205 ml) water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar-free pancake syrup
  • 3/4 cup (75 g) wheat gluten
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) wheat protein isolate
  • 1/4 cup (20 g) rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons (14 g) wheat bran
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons (14 g) ground flaxseed
  • 1 tablespoon (8 g) oat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon (14 g) butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons active bakers yeast

Method

  1. Put the ingredients in your bread machine in the order given, unless the instructions with your unit call for something quite different-then do it according to instructions!
  2. Run the bread machine through two knead-and-rise cycles
  3. After the second rise, let the bread bake
  4. Promptly remove the loaf from the bread case when done and cool before slicing and/or wrapping

Makes 12 slices

  1. Each with 21 g protein; 5 g carbohydrate; 2 g dietary fiber; 3 g usable carbs
  2. Carb count does not include the polyols in the sugar-free pancake syrup
