Ingredients
- 2 pounds (910 g) ground lamb
- 1 cup (160 g) minced onion
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1/4 cup (60 g) plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
Method
- Just plop everything into a mixing bowl -do make sure your onion is pretty finely minced or your burgers will want to crumble on you-and use clean hands to smoosh it all together until its well blended
- Form into 6 burgers about 1 inch 2 cm thick
- Chill them for an hour before grilling; then grill over a medium fire for 7 to 10 minutes per side
- Serve with Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce
Makes 6 servings
- Exclusive of the sauce, each will have 4 grams of carbohydrate and 1 gram of fiber, for a usable carb count of 3 grams; 26 grams protein
