Ingredients
- 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds (570 to 680 g) mild Italian Sausage
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
- 1 1/2 large green peppers
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
Method
- Slice the sausage diagonally into 1/2-inch 1 3-cm pieces and saute it in the olive oil over medium-high heat
- Meanwhile, slice the peppers into medium-size strips and slice the onion about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick
- When the sausage is about half done, stir in the peppers, onion, and garlic
- Cook until the sausage is well done and the onion is limp and translucent
- Serve
