Keto Easy Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 jalapeno
  • 110 grams low-sugar apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Keto No-Sugar-Ketchup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Splenda
  • 1/4 teaspoon blackstrap molasses
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (10 g) minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

Method

  1. Mince the jalapeno (don’t forget to wash your hands afterward!)
  2. Measure everything into a saucepan and whisk together well
  3. Turn heat to low and bring to a simmer
  4. Let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes

Makes 8 servings of 2 tablespoons (30 ml) each grams carbohydrate, with a trace of fiber, and a trace of protein
