- 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
- 4 ounces button mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 pound pork loin chops
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
Method
- Melt 1/4 of the butter stick in a skillet over medium heat.
- Then, saute the onions and mushrooms until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Reserve.
- Then, melt the remaining 1/4 of the butter stick and cook pork until slightly browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
- Add the onion mixture, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Lastly, top with cheese; cover and let it cook on medium-low heat until cheese has melted.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
