Ingredients

- 1 lb ground taco meat
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 cup Mexican blend cheese
- 4 ounces sliced black olives
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- olive oil
Method
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Add a little oil and crumble ground beef into the hot skillet
- Cook and stir until the beef is completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes
- Pour taco seasoning blend over the beef; add a little water if needed
- Bring to a simmer and cook until the moisture absorbs into the meat, about 5 minutes
- Taste and season with more taco seasoning as desired, or salt
- Layer the cooled taco meat first on the bottom of the dish
- Layer one cup of sour cream
- Add another layer of one cup of guacamole
- Add one cup of thick salsa, drain it well so there’s no excess liquid
- Add one cup shredded lettuce, you can use Iceberg or Romaine
- Top it off with shredded Mexican cheese, sliced olives, and chopped cherry tomatoes
