Italian Quick Bread Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups (180 g) Heart-Healthy Baking mix
  • ¼ cup 60 ml egg substitute
  • ½ cup (120 ml) skim milk
  • 1 tbsp (10 g) minced onion
  • 1 tbsp (13 g) sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients except Parmesan
  2. Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray
  3. Spread mixture in bottom of cooker
  4. Sprinkle with cheese
  5. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour
  6. Yield: 8 servings
  7. Per serving: 24 g water; 116 calories (9% from fat, 18% from protein, 73% from carb)
