Italian Meat Loaf With Sun-Dried Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
Serving Size : 4
- 2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 package pork sausage
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 large carrot – chopped finely
- 1 large onion – chopped
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pepper – to taste
- 2 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 3 egg
- 1/2 cup tomato catsup
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 8 ounces sun-dried tomatoes in oil – chopped
- 3/4 pound mozzarella cheese
Method
- Combine all ingredients except cheese in a large bowl.
- Then place meatloaf in a greased baking pan.
- Bake 70 minutes at 375 degrees.
- Remove from oven and top with mozzarella cheese, return to oven for 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
