- 6 Eggs – beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon anise
- beat all together.
- add 3 tablespoons baking powder.
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Method
- Knead to make a stiff dough, if more flour is needed add a little more.
- Roll in 1 inch circle forms.
- Place on a cookie sheet and press lightly.
- Bake in 375 degree oven until light brown.
- Remove and wait 5 minutes before slicing.
- Then return to oven to toast.
