Ingredients

Makes 2 To 3 Servings

  • 1½ cups couscous
  • 2¼ cups boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil or melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Place the couscous in a medium-sized bowl, and pour in the water
  2. Cover with a plate and leave alone for 10 minutes
  3. Fluff with a fork, stir in the olive oil or butter and the salt, and it’s ready to serve
