Impossible Tuna Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 8
  • 6 1/2 ounces tuna – drained
  • 1 cup sharp am. cheese – shredded
  • 3 ounces cream cheese – cut up
  • 1/4 cup green onions – sliced
  • 2 ounces pimiento; chopped – drained
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup bisquick
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash nutmeg

Method

  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2″.
  3. Mix tuna, cheeses, onions and pimiento in plate.
  4. Beat remaining ingred 15 sec in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater
  5. Pour into plate.
  6. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 35-40 minutes.
  7. Cool 5 minutes.
  8. Serve with sliced tomatoes.
  9. Serves 6-8.
  10. VARIATIONS: Seafood pie: Substitute 1 pkg (6 oz ) frozen crabmeat or shrimp, thawed, drained, for the tuna
  11. HIGH ALTITUDE: Bake 45-50 minutes.
