Herbed Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • whole chicken breasts, halved
  • 1 can (280 g) low-salt cream of mushroom soup
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) low-salt soy sauce
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) white wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water
  • ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) brown sugar

Method

  1. Place chicken in slow cooker
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken
  3. Cover and cook on low 2 to 2½ hours
  4. Uncover and cook 15 minutes more
  5. Yield: 8 servings
  6. Per serving: 71 g water; 75 calories (19% from fat, 51% from protein, 30% from carb)
