  7. For optimum quality, thawed Pink shrimp can be stored in the refrigerator about 1 day
  8. Thaw:
  9. Spread individually frozen Pink shrimp in single layer in shallow dish or pan cover with plastic wrap or foil and thaw, refrigerated, 6 to 7 hours
  10. Thaw block-frozen Pink shrimp, sealed in plastic bag, refrigerated, 8 to 10 hours or overnight
  11. Pink shrimp can be thawed in microwave oven according to manufacturer’s directions
  12. In general, 1 pound Pink shrimp can be thawed at defrost or 30% power about 15 minutes covered with waxed paper; stir once
