Ingredients
- 1 prepared 9-inch single pie crust
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 pound cooked ham, cubed
- 1 cup fat-free egg substitute
- 7 fluid ounces fat-free evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chopped fresh chives (optional)
Method
- Preheat your oven at 325 degrees F and put some oil over the quiche dish before pressing pie crust into it
- Cook green onions in hot oil for about 3 minutes before adding this on top of ham that is spread on the pie crust
- Pour a mixture of mozzarella cheese, egg substitute and evaporated milk over the ham mixture before adding Parmesan cheese and chives
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes before turning the heat up to 350 Degrees F and baking for another 20 minutes or until the top of the quiche is golden brown in color
- Allow it to set for thirty minutes before serving
