Ham And Cheese Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared 9-inch single pie crust
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 pound cooked ham, cubed
  • 1 cup fat-free egg substitute
  • 7 fluid ounces fat-free evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh chives (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven at 325 degrees F and put some oil over the quiche dish before pressing pie crust into it
  2. Cook green onions in hot oil for about 3 minutes before adding this on top of ham that is spread on the pie crust
  3. Pour a mixture of mozzarella cheese, egg substitute and evaporated milk over the ham mixture before adding Parmesan cheese and chives
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes before turning the heat up to 350 Degrees F and baking for another 20 minutes or until the top of the quiche is golden brown in color
  5. Allow it to set for thirty minutes before serving
