Ingredients

  • 1 pound (455 g) fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch (2
  • 5 cm lengths ½ teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 cup (235 ml) no-salt-added diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • black pepper, to taste.

Method

  1. Place ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Stir
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours
  4. Yield: 4 servings
  5. Per serving: 193 g water; 92 calories (32% from fat, 12% from protein, 56% from carb)
