Grandmothers Egg Custard Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups milk
Method
- Mix sugar and egg yolks.
- Measure out 3 cups milk and use some of it to dissolve cornstarch, then add to milk and butter, mix well.
- Beat egg whites and add to milk mixture.
- Pour into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
