Fondue Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10 5 ounces, or 295 g) Cheddar cheese soup
  • 225 g shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 220 g shredded Swiss cheese
  • 355 ml) beer or 1½ cups (355 ml) apple cider
  • ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • drops liquid smoke

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Stir to mix
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours
  4. After 1 hour of cooking time, stir
  5. Before serving, whisk to blend
  6. Serve with bread sticks or vegetables for dipping
  7. Yield: 12 servings
  8. Per serving: 63 g water; 215 calories (67% from fat, 25% from protein, 8% from carb)
