Ingredients

- 1 pound italian sausage
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- garlic
- italian seasoning.
- 2 large tomato sauce – canned
- 2 cans tomato paste – small cans
- 2 cups v-8. vegetable juice
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
- 1 large onion
- 1 large bell pepper
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms – or more to taste
- 1 dash hot chili powder
Method
- Fry sausage and ground beeF
- Drain real good.
- In large pot mix all ingredients.
- Simmer over low heat about 4 hours.
- Serving Ideas: serve with spaghetti.
