Ingredients

Yield : 4 cups

  • 28 oz can Chopped Tomatoes (no sugar added)
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt (add more if necessary)

Method

  1. Puree the tomatoes, olive oil, and 1/2 cup of the liquid from the can in a blender
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients
  3. Simmer for 40-60 minutes
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary
