Easy Fresh Apple Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 1/4 cups cooking oil
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 medium apples
- 3 Eggs
Method
- Mix and sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda.
- Peel and core apples.
- Mix with chopped pecans.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Make a “well” in the center.
- Pour in oil and well beaten eggs.
- Thoroughly mix and then add vanilla.
- Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Test for doneness with straw.
