Easy Chaat Masala Indian Recipe
Ingredients
- makes about 3 tablespoons
- add this to chopped fruit, or sprinkle on baked potato chips or fries.
- 1/2 tablespoons coriander seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- 2 to 3 dried red chilies
- 1 teaspoon dry mango powder
- 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons
- indian black salt.
Method
- Dryroast the coriander seeds in a skillet at medium heat until they change color slightly minute
- Remove the coriander seeds and dry roast the cumin, fennel seeds, and black peppercorns for 30 to 45 seconds or until the seeds change color slightly
- Cool and add the seeds, pepper, chilies, dry mango powder, and Indian black salt into a grinder or blender
- Grind until powdery
- Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months
