Easy Baked Beans Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 12 cups chopped onion
- 2 cans beans in tomato sauce – (16 oz)
- 1/2 cup Karo light corn syrup – or dark
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Method
- In 3-quart saucepan melt margarine over medium heat.
- Add onion; saute 5 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, 25 minutes.
- Makes 4 servings.
- MICROWAVE
- In 3 quart microwavable casserole combine margarine and onion.
- Microwave at High (100%) 1 to 2 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cover with waxed paper.
- Microwave, stirring once, 12 to 14 minutes or until heated.
- Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
