Ingredients
Makes about 12 biscuits
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup vegan margarine
- ¾ cup plain soy milk
Method
- Preheat the oven to 450°F
- Lightly oil a baking sheet and set aside
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt
- Use a pastry blender or fork to cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Add the soy milk, stirring just long enough to form a soft dough
- Drop the dough by the tablespoonful onto the prepared baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes
- Serve hot
