Sesame-Soy Breakfast Spread

Ingredients

Makes about 1 cup

  • 1/2 cup soft tofu, drained and patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons flaxseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth
  2. Scrape the mixture into a small bowl, cover and refrigerate for several hours to deepen the flavor
  3. Properly stored, it will keep for up to 3 days
