Sesame-Soy Breakfast Spread
Ingredients
Makes about 1 cup
- 1/2 cup soft tofu, drained and patted dry
- 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons flaxseed oil
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth
- Scrape the mixture into a small bowl, cover and refrigerate for several hours to deepen the flavor
- Properly stored, it will keep for up to 3 days
