Crunchy Chocolate-Coconut Balls Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 4 ounces sweet chocolate squares
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg – slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 2 1/2 cups coconut flakes
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flakes – crisp
Method
- Melt chocolate and butter in sauce pan over low heat.
- Stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, beat in egg and sugar.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of the coconut and the cereal.
- Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in remaining coconut
- Chill until firm store in covered container in the refrigerator
- Makes about 3 confections
