Ingredients
- 1 (5 lbs.) fresh Whole Chicken
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 11 baby Carrot
- 3 Bay Leaves
- ½ tbsp Whole Black pepper
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- ½ tsp celery salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- ½ cup Water
Method
- Place the seasonings, spices and parsley flakes in a bowl and mix well
- Rub the mixture over the chicken
- Place the vegetables and seasoned chicken in the crock pot
- Pour the water around the meat
- Cook on low for about 7-8 hours until the meat is cooked
- Transfer the tender meat into a platter
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes and slice into pieces as required
- Serve with salads
