Crock Pot Chorizo Chicken And Tomato Soup Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 lb. Chorizo
- 4 Cups Chicken Stock
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
- garnish with Shaved Parmesan and. Sour Cream
Method
- Heat a skillet and place the chorizo on the warm skillet
- Saute the chorizo for a little while until slightly brown in color
- Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of a crock pot
- Lay the browned chorizo over the thighs
- Toss in the balance ingredients
- Leave for about 3 hours on high and allow the ingredients to cook well
- Transfer the chicken thighs into a platter and shred the meat
- Place the meat back into the crock pot
- Leave for about 30-40 minutes on a low heat
- Serve garnished with Parmesan and
- Sour cream
