Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package andouille sausage
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup white wine (you can also sub this with beer or chicken stock)
- 3 gloves of garlic minced
- 1 small yellow onion diced
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- scallions for garnish.
Serve over white rice or buttered noodles.
Method
- Place the sausages and chicken in a crock pot
- Combine the cream cheese, stock, salt, mustard, garlic and wine in a bowl
- Toss in the onions on top of the sausages and chicken and pour the cheese mix over the onions
- Place lid, cover and cook for 4 hours on high
- Check constantly and if too thick, add more broth or wine
- Adjust seasonings and serve with rice or pasta
