Creole Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 4 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 small onion – chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tomatoes – sliced
  • 1 cup brown sauce – see recipe
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. Simmer green pepper and onion in butter or margarine until soft.
  2. Add mushrooms and tomatoes, simmer about 5 minutes.
  3. Add brown sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
